a. Progress with NAH with documentation: No Documentation to date
b. Permit process with FERC: All permits in place and NAH has applied to the FERC for the permit. (per phone confirmation) We are on target. Still going for April.
5. Fundraising Committee Report – Bob R & Jim T.: Postponed till next meeting.
a. Raffle ticket sale progress - Still some tickets out.
b. Ice Fishing Event – Everything is in line. Faulks Brothers will donate sand for beer tent Wisconsin Dist will donate 3 banners Projected cost $700 including till. Fire on Ice is working with us. Bob V. is getting the tent from Joe Weingardt. Poles will go into the ice 2 days before. Motion to provide 750 to event Ron W. second Bill Z. passed
6. Education Committee Report – Connie A., Carrie E., Lynn P.
a. Status of equipment order: In process, All equipment ordered and received. Invoices will be paid by WLR and then WLR will be re-reimbursed by the County Grant
b. Student Web – data posting Website is up and it is www.weyauwegalakehsstudy.wordpress.com Testing will continue through the drawdown in the lake (where possible) and down stream. This has been setup as a self perpetuating program with the senior students selecting younger students to apprentice and then take their place.
7. Grant Committee Report – Holly M.
a. Available Grants planning grant – proposal given to members. Need P&L Grant deadline is Feb 1. Joe Dorava of Vierbicher has offered to help with this process. An additional grant to help support the education project is in the works

8. Lake District Report – Jim T.- Holly M. - Bob V.
August 16 2010 Motion “Spierings, second DeSantis to commit $15,000 a year for 2011 and 2012 with the understanding that Weyauwega Lake Restoration will proced with the Lake District for the purpose of maintenance thereafter.” At the January 11th Park and Rec meeting this was amended to read (find copy) “When lake district is established”. This motion was passed and will go to the full counsel at the January 17th meeting. The effect, if adopted will be devastating. UPDATE: At the city council meeting this motion was voted down. The city will be giving the monies to Weyauwega Lake Restoration in 2011 as needed and in 2012 after the lake district is established as needed.
